| Eave: |
This is the height of the sides of your tent where you walk in. It is also the height of your wall poles that go around the outside edge of your tent. |
| Valance: |
This is the trim of the tent top. It hangs off the edge of tent top and is right above your head as you walk into tent. |
| Blockout: |
This is a vinyl that does not allow sunlight to come through. It is only available in our 16oz vinyl used for our square/rectangle tents and the 18oz premium white vinyl used for our round/oval tents. |
| Opacity: |
The degree to which light is blocked. While standing under the tent, the sunlight might make some tent panels appear lighter or darker than others. |
| Oz: |
The weight of each square yard of vinyl used in the tents. |
| Bailrings: |
These are cast steel used at top of 50' and wider tents. Tent is attached to them and they attach to the top of center pole to hold tent in position. |
| Ratchets: |
These can replace your staking ropes to quickly tighten your tent and dramatically reduce set up time. |
